What is RX for Oklahoma?

RX for Oklahoma helps Oklahomans access prescription assistance programs provided by pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.

Free and discounted medication assistance has proven to be a much needed service for Oklahomans since the inception of RX for Oklahoma on December 1, 2005. Since then, more than 21,000 clients have been helped across the state. RX for Oklahoma provides better healthcare, improved medication compliance and fewer medical complications for those that qualify.

How does the Program Work?

You can call 1-877-RX4-OKLA or go to one of the regional processing centers designated for your residential county. RX for Oklahoma staff will take your demographic information including name, age, address and income as well as prescription(s) needed and dosage(s). This information is then entered into a special database that generates the appropriate paperwork for the pharmaceutical companies for which you are eligible.

RX for Oklahoma staff assists you with the completion of the applications and required documentation for submission. The entire process takes approximately one month to complete so only long-term medications will qualify.

RX 4 Oklahoma Regions

Who Qualifies?

Oklahoma residents, regardless of age, who are uninsured, underinsured or low income (at or below federal poverty limits) are encouraged to apply. Medicare Part D and Medicaid beneficiaries with unique circumstances may qualify.

What Drugs are Available?

The lists of drugs change regularly as companies add new drugs to the companies assistance programs. Call RX for Okahoma to find out if your medication is available.

What information does RX for Oklahoma need?

Those wishing to apply for the program need to bring proof of the following:

Age
Residential address
Gross annual household income
Complete list of medications you are taking and physician information
Insurance coverage (if applicable).

OklahomaRx Discount Card

Our staff can also assist you with applying for the OklahomaRX Discount card. You can use this card on thousands of medications. Those insured as well as uninsured qualify. A minimal charge may be associated with this card.
